POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Area Planning supervises the development of local area transmission systems plans. The ideal candidate exhibits a proven track record of successfully aligning local area reinforcement preparation with forecasted load growth, fulfilling local area transmission and interconnection requests, and performing reliability assessments. The Manager, Area Planning reports to the Systems Manager, Area Planning.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises and evaluates the development and execution of Apparent’s delivery of services to local area transmission systems
• Actively participates and represents Apparent, Inc. in regulatory agency and regulatory working groups
• Provides technical advice and support to local area transmission lines
• Promotes and ensures compliance with NERC Reliability Standards
